You can get started right away with the inspiration triggs, but of course you can make your own triggs just as easily. A trigg is a combination of conditions and actions that do something in and around your house. Super simple!

Choose “Create a new trigg”

Every trigg starts on the ‘My triggs’ screen where you can make a new trigg. Triggs consist of conditions and actions and need channels. A channel is a connected device, a service or an online service. Once you have created these channels, you can use them in multiple triggs.

Make a condition

Then choose “Add condition”. This sets the conditions for when the trigg should activate. Date, time, location, weather conditions, temperature in the house or a combination of the endless possibilities.

Choose your channel

Every trigg needs channels. You connect these channels once, usually
through a login procedure. Some channels, such as weather and location, can be added instantly. Choose the channel you want to use as a condition.

Define the action

Have your lights flash, change the program for your thermostat, save something on Google Drive, or send notifications to a phone. You can do all kinds of things with the actions. Choose another channel and then the desired action.

Then choose “Add condition”. This sets the conditions for when the trigg should activate. Date, time, location, weather conditions, temperature in the house or a combination of the endless possibilities.

Save the trigg

We automatically give your trigg a name, which you can of course change to your own title. Save the trigg and it is active immediately. If something is missing, you will get a notification on your screen automatically.

Ready!

There isn’t really a step 6. That’s it. It’s that simple to make a
trigg. If the conditions in your trigg are all true, we will run it. For each trigg, you get an overview of when the trigg is run in the detail screen.
