Some of you have noticed that our chat feature in the app has disappeared. Unfortunately, we had to remove this function. For the chat function we used a so-called plugin, which we paid more than enough for, dependable on the number of users. With the growth in users we go through, this function became too expensive. In addition, this function invited everyone to share one on one their specific problems, wishes, questions with us, and in all honesty, this too became too costly for us. We can – unfortunately – not have a personal Smart Home helpdesk for a free app.
We work with suppliers and manufacturers of the devices you have at home, they sponsor us, but certainly not enough to staff a thriving – multilingual – helpdesk. We create an app for Smart Home enthusiasts, and we simply have to switch to provide more general support (through forum and Frequently Asked Questions) than personal support. On the support page in our app we therefore refer to our forum and our FAQ pages.
